About
My work focuses on the continuous relationship between architecture, interiors, and spatial experience, as well as the process of translating design intent into clear, coordinated, and buildable spaces.
With a background spanning architectural design, hospitality interiors, residential development, and commercial space, I approach design as both a creative and technical process. I received training across urban, architectural, and interior scales, and later completed my Master of Architecture at UCLA. Through professional practice in the United States and China, I have contributed to a range of projects including hotel guestrooms and public areas, commercial interiors, residential developments, exhibition spaces, and architectural research.
These experiences have shaped a practical design methodology: one that goes beyond formal expression and considers how brand standards, client needs, site conditions, material systems, construction logic, and user experience come together. In practice, my work often extends from design development to construction documentation, FF&E packages, material specifications, brand submittals, vendor coordination, and budget communication. To me, design is not only a visual outcome, but a system that must be carefully studied, communicated, coordinated, and executed.
I am also interested in how AI tools can become part of the architectural and interior design workflow. Rather than treating AI only as a tool for image generation, I explore its value in early concept development, visual research, material and specification organization, design communication, and workflow optimization. Through tools such as Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, DALL·E, and Photoshop Generative Fill, I continue to develop more efficient ways to connect creative exploration, information processing, and project execution.
This portfolio brings together work across different scales and stages — from architectural research to hospitality interiors, from spatial storytelling to construction coordination, and from visual representation to AI-assisted design workflows. Together, these projects reflect my core position: working between concept and construction to move spatial ideas toward realization.
